The JPDO Integrated Air Surveillance Concept of Operations (IS ConOps) has received full endorsement from a multi-agency group of surveillance mission partners, including the Departments of Transportation, Defense, Homeland Security, and Commerce, and supported by the Department of Justice and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

JPDO Congratulates NASA and FAA for Transfer of New Flight Arrival Management TechnologyFeb 08, 2012
NASA has successfully transferred the results of their research to define and validate the Efficient Descent Advisor (EDA) concept to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Through the joint efforts between the FAA, NASA, industry and airlines, the Three Dimensional-Path Arrival Management (3D-PAM) technology was delivered to the Air Traffic Organization for potential operational use following additional evaluation. In a ceremony recognizing the transfer at FAA Headquarters in Washington, DC on January 31, the Joint Planning and Development Office (JPDO) was recognized for its role in establishing the NASA/FAA Research Transition Team construct in 2007, providing the initial collaborative engagement forum.
